After many hours of clearing, a crew got out to start burning some of the Buckthorn piled up. They needed a day with snow on the ground, not a lot of wind, and people to do it! They had all three and started in. I have not seen the final result yet, but at this point it looked like the wood maybe needed to “cure” a little longer to get dry enough to burn well.

Flying around the woods during the burn spotted some deer out for a walk. The activity did not seem to bother them to much.
