As part of the Michigan “Forest to MI Faucet” project to help maintain healthy water supplies SMLC will be undertaking a series of activities over the next 18 months or so.
The first is to plant a number of trees on the LeFurge Nature Preserve in the field at the corner of Vreeland and Prospect Roads.
This is a view taken to show the status of the field prior to any activities taking place, with the intent to show forest progression over the coming years.
